Blitz Five

I have a new phone, or can’t see my full game.

In Blitz Five, tap New game and go to step 3 (Which words?). Tap the Full game button at the bottom, then Restore purchases. Use the same Apple account or Google account you bought it with. A purchase on an iPhone doesn’t carry over to Android, or the other way round.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases go through Apple or Google. On an iPhone you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, on Android through Google Play.

How does it work?

Split into two to four teams. Taking turns, one person holds the phone and describes words without saying the word itself. Their team guesses. Every word guessed is a point, and after the last round the team with the most points wins. There’s more on the Blitz Five page.

What’s free and what costs money?

The first 250 words in each language and the Describe mode are free, and you can try one game of Forbidden words. You buy the full game once: 2,000 words in each language (the main list and the categories Famous people, Film & TV and Sports) in all four languages, the Forbidden words mode and house rules. After that you can buy separate word packs, or all packs at once.

Which languages can I play in?

The screens follow your phone’s language: Dutch, German, French or English. You choose the language of the words separately when setting up.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. The words are in the app. You only need internet to make a purchase or restore one.

What do I need?

One phone for the whole group: an iPhone with iOS 17 or later (iPhone XR, XS or SE 2nd generation and later), or an Android phone with Android 8 or later.

A word is wrong or doesn’t belong.

Email the word and the language to [email protected]. We’ll fix the list in a future version.
